Harry, 24, went down with the injury during team drills in
training camp on Saturday. He could not put any weight on his
left ankle and was helped off the field by a trainer and
teammate, leaving the Bears concerned about the severity of the
injury, ESPN reported at the time.
Per NFL Network, Harry will meet with a specialist to determine
how long the injury is expected to sideline him.
The Bears last month acquired Harry from the New England
Patriots for a seventh-round draft pick in 2024. Harry was a
first-round selection by the Patriots in 2019 but didn't live up
to the billing. He has just 57 catches for 598 yards and four
touchdowns in 33 games over three NFL seasons, all with the
Patriots.
Harry had just 12 receptions for 184 yards in 12 games (four
starts) last season. His best season came in 2020, when he made
33 catches for 309 yards and two scores in 14 games (nine
starts).
