Among the many things
to do at the fair was the YMCA-sponsored Family Fun Day following
the Talent Show. Parents and children alike returned to the Lincoln
Stage to participate in family-friendly activities. There were
coloring books to work on, hula hoops, a playground parachute,
sidewalk chalk, and buckets of plastic balls to play catch. The fair
royalty even stopped by to play and color with kids and talk with
families.
