Savannah
Conrady made history in the city of Lincoln on Monday
night. She was sworn in as the first female firefighter
for the Lincoln Fire Department. On Monday she took the
oath of service as a probationary firefighter. If she is
successful during her probation period, she will be
retained as a permanent member of the department.
Congratulations to Savannah!

The
Balloons Over 66 weekend is just a little over one week
away. This year, a large number of balloons will be
lifting off, weather permitting, from four locations in
Lincoln on Friday and Saturday night. The Saturday night
glow event will occur this year at those individual
lift-off points.
Today's edition of Lincoln Daily News lists what
balloons will be where for the weekend event. Be sure to
check it out.
