She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Brenda Anderson and Terri Langley; one brother: Wayne; aunt and uncle Shirley and Stan Bruketa; and one grandson, Bryson Eimer.

A 1970 graduate of Lincoln Community High School, Sandy retired from Casey’s Retail Corp. as a District Supervisor and then worked part-time at Atlanta City Hall for several years. She loved working at Casey’s for over 25 years and all the people she came into contact with.

Sandy loved her children and her grandchildren more than life itself. Jeff was the love of her life and best friend. Sandy absolutely loved watching her grandchildren play and having them at her house.

Memorials in Sandy’s memory may be made to the Atlanta Police Department, Atlanta Rescue Squad, or Atlanta Fire Department, or the Atlanta Christian Church Helping Hands.

Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home of Atlanta.
