[August 18, 2022]  MOUNT PULASKI - Spencer Roy Allen Jones, 35, of Mount Pulaski, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Springfield Memorial Hospital in Springfield.

Service:  A celebration of Spencer’s life will take place at The Old Brickyard Grill & Pub in Mount Pulaski, from 1:00-4:00pm on Sunday, August 14, 2022.

Obituary

Spencer Roy Allen Jones, 35, of Mount Pulaski, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Springfield Memorial Hospital in Springfield.

Spencer was born on July 31, 1987 in Decatur, the son of Larry E. Jones and Barbara Ulland.

Spencer is survived by his son, Liam Jones of Isanti, MN; his parents, Larry E. Jones of Portage, WI; his mother, Barbara Hoffman of Mount Pulaski; his brother, Rick (Betsy) Jones of Sun Prairie, WI; Josh (Katie) Jones of Portage, WI; Cameron Jones of Portage, WI; Colleen (Eric) Madsen of Portage, WI; his brother-from-another-mother, Cass Stewart; and his second dad, Denny Stewart. Additionally, he is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.



 

Spencer enjoyed spending time playing video games, especially Apex Legends. He loved to go swimming and was an excellent cook. He was a daredevil and loved being a locomotive operator. But above all else, Spencer loved being a father to his son, Liam.

A celebration of Spencer’s life will take place at The Old Brickyard Grill & Pub in Mount Pulaski, from 1:00-4:00pm on Sunday, August 14, 2022.

Memorial donations may be made to the family of Spencer Jones for the benefit of his son, Liam.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mount Pulaski.
