Obituary
Dorothy Benedict, 74, of Lincoln
passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at the
Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
No services are scheduled.
Cremation Rites have been accorded. Burial will be
at a later date in Zion Cemetery.
Dorothy Esslinger was born on May 2, 1948, in
Montclair, New Jersey, the daughter of Dorothy
Esslinger. She was united in marriage to Robert L.
Benedict on October 3, 1986. He survives.
Also surviving are her daughter: Annette (Joey
Summers) Costa; grandchildren: Kalle, Payton and
Annistin; and two brothers: Bobby Esslinger and
Richard Esslinger. She also leaves behind her
beloved cat, Squeaky. |
Dorothy played a big role in the
lives of her grandchildren, whom she loved more than
anything in the world. She was a wonderful wife,
mother, and grandmother. She will be missed so very
much.
Her wish was always to become an organ donor,
however due to her health issues she was unable to
donate.
