Mount Pulaski Honeybears win eighth grade regional championship

[December 02, 2022]  The Honeybears eighth grade team won the Class 2A Regional Championship on Thursday night in Mason City with a 22-13 win over Havana, the no. 1 seed. 

Mount Pulaski, a no. 2 seed in the regional, was led in scoring by Addison Brown with 12 points. Brown also had 5 rebounds and 4 steals.

Mount Pulaski (21-1) will play for a sectional championship on Wednesday, December 7, 2022. Mount Pulaski will host that championship game, but the Honeybears are still waiting to see who their opponent will be.
