Zion Lutheran Church offers donation to Tiny Home projects in Lincoln

The Stewardship Committee of Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln recently sponsored a soup luncheon followed by a program to honor Zion’s veterans.

Donations were collected to support the Central Illinois Veterans Commission Operation Tiny Home project that provides housing for at-risk veterans.

The C.I.V.C has competed three homes at Sixth and College Streets with another home planned for 908 Decatur Street in Lincoln for 2023.

Zion Lutheran Chruch Pastor Mark Thompson and member Henry Bartmann presented a check for $275 to Joe Schaler with the CIVC Tiny Home project.
