The Hawks had a 17-2 lead after the first
quarter.
By halftime Riverton was up 31-14, despite eight points from
Clay Aylesworth.
Evan Cooper poured in nine points in the third quarter, but the
Hawks continued to add to their lead. Going into the fourth
quarter, Mount Pulaski was down 47-27.
Mount Pulaski outscored the Hawks 16-10 in the fourth quarter
but still lost the game 57-43.
Clay Aylesworth led Mount Pulaski with 14 points. Evan Cooper
tossed in 13 points for the Hilltoppers.
The Hilltoppers fall to 2-4 on the season.
Mount Pulaski won the JV game 40-25.
Mount Pulaski will host New Berlin tonight. The JV game will
start at 6 p.m. The Varsity is set to tip-off at 7:30 p.m.
