Mount Pulaski led 19-4 after the first quarter.
Still holding down the Hawks, the Lady Toppers managed to take a
37-4 lead at the half.
The third quarter saw the Hawks improve a bit, but not near
enough to catch Mount Pulaski. The Lady Toppers commanded a
43-15 lead after three quarters of play.
Mount Pulaski breezed through the fourth quarter and took home
the 57-17 win.
The Lady Toppers made six threes on the night, with Je’Na
Rentmeister making three of them.
Aly Murphy led all scorers with 21 points. Alexis Wade tossed in
14 points. Je’Na Rentmeister finished with 10 points.
Mount Pulaski improves to 5-3 on the season.
Mount Pulaski won the JV game 23-20. Kenzi Chandler led the Lady
Toppers with 10 points.
Mount Pulaski will host Illini Central Thursday night. The JV
game will start at 6 p.m. The Varsity game will start at 7:30
p.m.
