Saturday evening was
rather cold, but the warm-hearted spirit of Christmas and friendship
won the day.
Lincoln Christian Church invited everyone to come and celebrate a
Hometown Christmas. |

|
Families enjoyed horse-drawn carriage
rides, carolers, Mike's Little Train Rides for small children, and
making crafts for Christmas gifts and ornaments for the tree, all
while enjoying cookies and hot chocolate. |
|
Santa was on hand for photos and ready to take gift requests. One
little girl wanted a dictionary for Christmas, while her brother
wanted VR (a virtual reality headset). The Grinch was even on the
scene and permitting photo ops. |
|
Even an eight-week puppy had to take a nap from all the activity
going on. |
|
Amid the flurry of things to do and people to see, a huge sign on
the wall that said, "This is for EVERYONE."
And isn't that what Christmas is all about? |
