Lincoln Junior High Trojan Wrestlers opened the
season Thursday night on the road with a match at Beardstown.
They wrestled Rochester and winning both duals.
The Trojans beat Rochester 58-39 and Beardstown 54-36.
Winning two matches each for the Trojans were, Liam Whitehead,
Colby Merriman, Riley Eilertson, Braxton Eilertson, Eli Martin,
and Brodie Glenn who wrestled two exhibition matches.
Wrestlers going 1-0 were Daniel Beck and Wyatt Haynes.
Wrestlers going 1-1 were Uriah Power, Cayden Geriets, Seth
Durbin, Braiden Barrish, Sam Petersen, Marcus Gile, Elliott
Lynch, Jude Snyder and Preston Maestas who wrestled exhibition.
The team is a very young team with half being first year
wrestlers. The Coaching Staff was impressed with their hard work
and determination.
Next up for Trojans Wrestling is the first home meet on Monday,
December 12th at 5 p.m.
We will be hosting Dee-Mack and Evans.
