Obituary
Deborah Kay Frakes, 66, of
Middletown, passed away December 6, 2022, at St.
John's Hospital, Springfield.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry
& Bennett Funeral Home. A memorial visitation will
be held Tuesday, December 13, 2022, from 5 p.m. to 7
p.m. at the funeral home.
Deborah was born March 10, 1956, in Springfield,
IL., the daughter of Richard and Mabel (Wilson)
Skelton. She married Donald T. Frakes on September
25, 1986. He preceded her in death on May 1, 2022.
Deb loved being from a big family.
She enjoyed cookouts and family gatherings and any
chance she got to be with her kids, grandkids, and
her siblings.
She enjoyed murder mysteries,
being in the pool in the summer, and sitting at her
kitchen table drinking coffee and playing games on
her phone. |
Survivors include her children:
Christina (Joseph) Walker, Jaime Williams, and James
(Anna) Williams; 11 grandchildren; numerous great
grandchildren, and siblings: Dick Skelton, Jackie
Poole, Rusty Skelton, Carol Renfro, Tim Skelton, and
Kelly Hoffert. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and
friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her
parents, husband, and several siblings.
In lieu of flowers, memorial
donations may be made to the family and will be
accepted at the funeral home.
