Mount Pulaski held a 10-4 lead after the first
quarter, but Mount Sterling Brown County came back in the second
quarter and took a 15-13 lead over the Honeybears at the half.
Mount Sterling Brown County held a 20-18 advantage at the end of
the third quarter and hung on to win 29-28.
Claire Bobell led the Honeybears with 14 points that included
four three-pointers.
The Honeybears end a great season with a 22-2 record.
Mount Sterling Brown County (25-2) will play Paris Crestwood
(25-0) for the state championship Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. in
Havana.
