Judy was born on September 23, 1942, in Pierre, South Dakota, the daughter of Marion and Iris (Westlund) Lohrenz. She married the unforgettable, wonderful Cliff Perkins on Aug. 29, 1975, in Lincoln.

She attended Lincoln High School, where she became the 1960 Homecoming Queen. Judy built her career at Albert Brothers, Illico, and Edward Jones. She is known most for being very fun-loving, witty, and laid-back. Judy loved cooking, garage sales, her family, and her dogs, Thunder, Stormy, and Killer. We will miss her so.

Judy is survived by her daughters: Teresa (Jim) Smith of Hume, Angela Mahler of Lincoln, Debra (Allen) Krueger of Lincoln, sons-in-law: Rick Hoefle and Tony Sanders of Lincoln, her seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Iris & Marion; husband, Cliff; brother, Mike; daughter, Leslie; son-in-law, Doug Mahler; and grandson Andy.

A graveside service for Judy will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, December 9th at New Union Cemetery in Lincoln with Tim Searby officiating.
