Obituary
Harriet Morrison, 83, of Aurora,
formerly of New Holland, passed away on Wednesday,
December 7, 2022.
Harriet was born March 12, 1939, in Lincoln, the
daughter of Charles and Elizabeth (Harnecke) Juhl.
Harriet is survived by her children, Timothy (Cathy
Smith) Jacobs of Peoria, and Jodii Cooper of Aurora,
grandchildren, Laci Roxanne, Hannah Marie, Mike,
Ryan, and Austin; one great-grandson, Devon; her
sister, Norma Juhl of New Holland, many nieces and
nephews; and her dogs, Zieke and Tilley.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers,
William, Walter, and Herman Juhl; sisters, Helen
Eeten, and Anna Tibbs; and one grandson, Charles.
Harriet was known as Granny by her grandchildren,
and she loved them dearly. Granny loved going and
watching Ryan and Austin play hockey. She was such a
big part of their lives. She always wished that she
could have seen Laci, Hannah, and Mike more often,
but she treasured the times that she did have with
them.

Granny always loved her yorkies,
Breeze, Marty, Zieke, and Tilly. She had a small
group of friends, but she was known by many people
either from her daughter, Jodii; son, Tim;
grandsons, Ryan and Austin; or people from the
hospital with the years that she worked in
housekeeping. These people grew to love her dearly
in so many ways. Most people will remember her for
her beautiful smile and the twinkle in her eyes.
Services for Harriet will be held at 11 a.m. on
Monday, December 12, 2022, at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln,
officiated by Rev. Jonathan Buescher. A visitation
will take place two hours prior from 9 a.m. to 11
a.m. Burial will follow the service at Hartsburg
Union Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in Harriet’s name to The
American Cancer Society or the Susan G. Komen Breast
Cancer Foundation.
