In game one of the tournament Mount Pulaski
defeated Blue Ridge 53-15.
Alyson Murphy and Kenzi Chandler each led the Lady Toppers with
six points in the first quarter as Mount Pulaski blanked Blue
Ridge 16-0 to start the game.
Eight different Lady Toppers scored in the second quarter and
with Blue Ridge still remaining silent, Mount Pulaski led 32-0
at halftime.
Blue Ridge finally scored in the third quarter, but had no
chance of winning against the Lady Toppers. Murphy poured in
nine third quarter points and after three quarters Mount Pulaski
was crushing Blue Ridge 50-10.
A three from Ella Bobell in the fourth quarter set the final
scores at 53-15.
Alyson Murphy led Mount Pulaski with 13 points.
The Lady Toppers improved to 9-3 on the season.
