Alyson Murphy and Grace Davis combined for 15
points in the first quarter as the Lady Toppers took a 21-12
lead.
At halftime the Lady Toppers were holding a 42-20 lead as Alexis
Wade was on fire, scoring 10 points.
Balanced scoring led the second half of the game and at the end
of the third quarter Mount Pulaski was holding a 53-32 lead.
Mount Pulaski does not shy away from shooting the three and this
time the girls sank eight threes as a team against South Fork,
winning by a final score of 70-41.
Alyson Murphy led Mount Pulaski with 17 points.
Grace Davis and Alexis Wade each poured in 15 points for the
Lady Toppers.
Mount Pulaski improved to 10-3 on the season.
The Lady Toppers advance to the Holiday Express Tournament
championship game versus Warrensburg-Latham on Tuesday night at
7:30 p.m. in Macon.
