Caitlyn Summers LTEC Student of the Month for December

 

[December 19, 2022]  Caitlyn Summers, daughter of Brian and Tina Summers, is the December Student of the Month for the Building Trades program at the Lincolnland Technical Education Center.

Caitlyn is a Junior at Lincoln Community High School.

Instructor John Ford, says that from day one, “Caitlyn has been an awesome student to have in class. She has an excellent attendance record, shows up ready to work and can accomplish tasks before her. Caitlyn is enjoyable to work with and asks intelligent questions.

“In a class of two she was a key element in framing, helping put up the soffit, and especially with roofing the house. She can hold her own in a career mainly dominated by men.

“She is a very dedicated student and strives to do her best at everything she does. Caitlyn will do well in this field, I wish her the best.”

Caitlyn received $50 from the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln who sponsors this award.
