- Diane Detjen, 66, of Lincoln, passed away on
Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Obituary
Diane Detjen, 66, of Lincoln, passed
away on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Lincoln
Memorial Hospital.
Diane was born on March 2, 1956, in Bloomington, the
daughter of John “Jack” and Mary (Reiners) Detjen.
She is survived by her sisters, Denise (Vic)
Martinek and Deborah Galligos; and nephews, Jeremy
White, John Martinek, Andrew Galligos, and Tommy
Martinek.
Diane was preceded in death by her
parents.
Diane graduated with her bachelor’s degree at
Illinois Wesleyan; then continued to earn her Juris
Doctorate from Valparaiso University. |
Funeral services for Diane will be
held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 19, 2022, at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Visitation will take place one hour prior from 10
a.m. to 11 a.m. Burial will follow the service at
Hartsburg Union Cemetery in Hartsburg.
Memorials may be made in Diane’s name to her family
or Lincoln Public Library.
