[December 25, 2022]  LINCOLN - Donna D. Lawless, 72, of Lincoln passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Visitation:  Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home

Service: Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the funeral home

Funeral home: Peasley Funeral Home, Lincoln     

Obituary

Donna D. Lawless, 72, of Lincoln passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home.

Memorial Service will be held at 6 p.m. following the visitation.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Donna Dee Leetham was born on November 18, 1950 in Hillsboro the daughter of Carl Laverne and Joyce Stephenson Leetham. She was united in marriage to Michael Lawless on November 3, 2002. He preceded her in death on February 23, 2013.

She is survived by her daughter: Whitney (Nathaniel) Kessinger. Two granddaughters: Clara Dee and Hattie Joy. One brother: Carl (April) Leetham.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister-in-law: Carol Leetham.

Funeral Director

Donna graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1968.

Donna was the first female barber in Lincoln and was the owner of Hair Head Quarters and Tanning Center for 46 successful years.

She loved spending time with her granddaughters, traveling, and was always smiling. She had a passion for making others look and feel their best. She was known to never leave the house without her lipstick on.

Donna had a love for cats.

Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Logan County.
