Mount Pulaski fell behind 16-7 in the first
quarter.
There was a really long scoring drought in the second quarter by
Mount Pulaski and the Blue Jays took advantage of the Lady
Toppers offensive troubles. PORTA built a 29-11 lead at the
half.
PORTA continued to keep the Lady Toppers at a distance in the
second half and led 40-22 at the end of the third quarter.
It was just an off night all around for Mount Pulaski and in the
end it was PORTA beating the Lady Toppers 52-33.
Alexis Wade led Mount Pulaski with 13 points.
The Lady Toppers fall to 14-4 overall on the season.
Mount Pulaski is 3-1 in the tournament and they will play Pana
tonight at 6:00 p.m. for third place.
