Heartland to host Career & Technical Education info night

 

[February 10, 2022]   Heartland Community College is hosting an informational session for individuals looking for short-term programs and certifications that provide a quick path to a career.

Heartland’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) information night will take place on Tuesday, February 15 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. The event is set to begin in the Astroth Community Education Center at Heartland’s Normal Campus, then will transition into the nearby Workforce Development Center (WDC).

Heartland faculty will kick off the evening with a short admission presentation covering the admission process, financial aid opportunities, and how to apply for scholarships. Then prospective students will receive a tour of the College’s WDC, where they will explore different CTE labs, receive an overview of the different programs, and get to know faculty members.
