“As a Zonta member, I was looking for ways that I can
support our fundraising efforts and offer our community a class that
helps bring about balance, calm and resiliency." says Cook "The last
few years have been challenging emotionally, mentally and physically
for so many and I wanted to give back and give people opportunities
for self-care and healing. The idea of leading a yoga class and
supporting Zonta seemed to fit perfectly.”
The Zonta Club of Lincoln was founded on May 1, 1957. The club is
a member of Zonta International, a leading global organization of professionals
empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy. The local club has
given over 100 individual scholarships
