Today's
top photos relate to the 2021 Year in Review articles
reconstructing news events in the Logan County County
Board.
The recently taken photos of the Mulligan Solar Farm,
under construction south of Lincoln on Route 66, show
the progress made on that project.
The project interconnects to the existing Ameren Fogarty
138 kV substation located northeast of the town of
Broadwell. The interconnection facilities, or "Project
Substation," would be located with the Fogarty
substation on an adjacent parcel.
Mulligan Solar, LLC is owned by Apex Clean Energy, LLC,
an independent renewable energy company based in
Charlottesville, Virginia, focused on building
utility-scale generation facilities.

September 18, 2021 -
An aerial view of
the new solar energy farm south of Lincoln along Route 66 is
moving along nicely. The lines of white dots in the fields
are the legs the solar panels will be mounted.
Thanks to Rick Kidd of the Heritage in Flight Museum for
providing this excellent view of the farm.
