Obituary
Virginia L. Gleason, 89, passed away
at 3:57 p.m. on Friday December 31, 2021 at Lincoln
Memorial Hospital.
Virginia was born on September 5, 1932 in Lincoln,
daughter of Wilfred and Louella (Shaw) Huff. She was
preceded in death by her parents, one son: Mark
“Kevin” Gleason and one daughter: Melissa Graham.
Virginia is survived by her son: Donn “Mike” (Sharen)
Gleason of Sante Fe, NM; daughters: Bridget (Ed)
Slayton of Lincoln, and Alice “Maureen” (Gary)
Schmock of Grand Junction, CO; one sister: Wilfreida
“Snooky” Sullivan of Lincoln, nine grandchildren and
13 great-grandchildren. |
Virginia worked and retired as a
Nurse from the Lincoln Correctional Center in
Lincoln.
Cremation rites for Virginia are entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. A
family graveside will be held at a later date.
