At Lincoln Memorial Hospital Henry, Jackson top list of boys’ names in ’21

Henry and Jackson tied for the top boy’s name in 2021 at Lincoln Memorial Hospital, while Alaina was the top girl’s name.

Three baby boys each received the name Henry or Jackson, although some parents selected variant spellings, such as Jaxson or Jaqson. Four baby girls each were named Alaina along with variant spellings, including Elaina and Elayna.

“While last year continued to present a very unique challenge as COVID-19 restrictions prevented grandparents, siblings and friends from visiting, our new parents had more time to themselves to bond with their new babies,” said Elizabeth Meyrick, the obstetrics nurse manager at Lincoln Memorial Hospital. “We look forward to when we can safely lift our visitor restrictions.”

Runners-up for popular boys’ names in 2021 were Bohen/Bowen, Easton, Jace, Micah, Ryker, Westley and William.

Runners-up for popular girls’ names were Joselyn/Jocelyn, Layton/Leighton, Reagan/Regan, Tessa and Willow.
