Farm & Home Supply is excited to announce that the company has
acquired three Big R Stores located in Lincoln, Springfield, and
Taylorville. Farm & Home Supply plans to turn the Lincoln (1501
Woodlawn Drive) and Taylorville (1160 E 1500 N Road) locations
into Farm & Home Supply stores. The Springfield Big R (2804 N
Dirksen Parkway) will be temporarily closed and will eventually
be reopened as the new Springfield East location for Farm & Home
Supply.
All three stores will be remodeled, beginning right away in the
Lincoln location. In addition to being remodeled, both the
Springfield and Taylorville locations will be enlarged in the
coming year to provide more space for new products and services.
Both Lincoln and Taylorville will carry major brands such as
Carhartt, Cub Cadet, DeWalt, Milwaukee, Stihl, Under Armour, and
much more. The stores will include full service small engine
repair centers and in-store/curbside pick-up areas.
To start, store hours for both locations will be Monday through
Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed Sunday.
Lincoln store hours will change in the first quarter to Monday
through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 6
p.m.
Taylorville store hours will also change in the first quarter
and will be Monday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and
Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Owner Adam Bowles is thrilled to be expanding the Farm & Home
Supply company further into central Illinois. “We are grateful
that we can expand the Farm & Home Supply name into these
wonderful communities. We’re excited to provide a wide selection
of products and services that customers in the areas count on us
for,” said Bowles.
Grand Opening dates will be announced at a later time.
