Lutheran Church in Lincoln.

service also at the church until 4:00 p.m.

Obituary
Nettie Hall, 75, of Lincoln, passed
away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Springfield
Memorial Hospital in Springfield.
Nettie was born on August 30, 1946 in Illinois. The
daughter of Thelma Peel Madden. She married Randy
Hall on August 2, 1984 in Springfield. He survives
in Lincoln.
Nettie is also survived by her sons, Aric Monkman,
and Kevin “Monk” (Esme) Monkman; her sisters,
Shelmerdene Gray, and Jennie Rene (Larry) Humphreys;
her grandchildren, Kevin Monkman II, Ty Monkman, Bo
Monkman, and Kellie Monkman. Additionally, she is
survived by many friends who she considered family
including, Beverly “Betts” Teel and Yvetta Harrold
and her special grand dog Khan. |
Nettie was preceded in death by her
mother; her brothers, Jimmy Dean Harrold, and Fred
Eugene Harrold; her sister, Rosetta Dahman; and one
grandchild.
A celebration of Nettie’s life will be held at
1:00pm on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Faith Lutheran
Church in Lincoln. A memorial gathering will take
place after the service also at the church until
4:00pm.
Memorial donations may be made in Nettie’s name to
Faith Lutheran Church in Lincoln.
