Mount Pulaski defeats Greenview 76-34

[January 18, 2022] The Hilltoppers hosted Greenview on Saturday afternoon and Mount Pulaski continued to put up big numbers offensively, winning 76-34 over the Bulldogs. 

The Hilltoppers outscored the Bulldogs 32-5 in the first quarter, with Lane Murphy scoring 12 points for Mount Pulaski. 

By halftime the Hilltoppers were on top 47-22. 

The Hilltoppers continued crushing the Bulldogs in the third quarter. Mount Pulaski’s lead grew to 69-31 with Clay Aylesworth pouring in 13 points to lead the team.

Ethan Payne scored five points in the fourth quarter as the Hilltoppers cruised to the 76-34 victory over Greenview. 

The Hilltoppers placed five players in double-figures: Lane Murphy (15), Clay Aylesworth (13), Gavin Smith (11), Aidan Schneider (11) and Cullen Tyson (10).

Mount Pulaski hosts Edinburg tonight. The JV game will tip-off at 6 p.m. The Varsity will play at 7:30 p.m.
