Railers defeat Bloomington 55-43

[January 19, 2022] The Lincoln Railers are back in the win column after a 55-43 victory over Bloomington on Tuesday night. 

Lincoln trailed 13-12 after the first quarter. 

The Railers outscored the Purple Raiders 17-6 in the second quarter and led at the half 29-19. 

Lincoln was able to keep pace and maintain a double-digit lead in the third quarter, leading 44-31.

With four Railers scoring in double-figures, Lincoln defeated Bloomington 55-43.

Payton Cook led Lincoln with 17 points. Aidan Gowin poured in 15 points. Tyler Sasse scored 12 points and Elijah Pollice tossed in 10 points. 

Lincoln improves to 15-3 on the season.

The Railers won the JV game by a final score of 43-20. 

Ki’on Carson led the Railers JV team with 12 points. 

The Railers will host Mount Zion on Thursday night. The JV will start at 6 p.m. The Varsity will tip-off at 7:30 p.m.
