Carter Benton January LTEC Student of the Month

 

[January 18, 2022]  Carter Benton, son of Stacey Haley and Jeremy Benton, was named the January Student of the Month for the Computer Science program at Lincolnland Technical Education Center. Carter is a Senior at Mt. Pulaski High School. Mr. Joe Vazquez instructor, says Carter is extremely teachable and willing to learn.

 He is a pleasant student and has perfect attendance. Carter is engaged and eager to participate, always. He is a team player and always willing to do any job, even when they are not asked of him. Mr. Vazquez says Carter is a hard worker and exemplifies the LTEC ideals.

Carter likes to spend his spare time building models.

Carter’s future plans are to attend Lincoln College and take business classes. Carter would like to start his own model company.

Carter received $50 from the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln who sponsors this award.
