Obituary
Gayle Ann Heath, 77, of Lincoln
passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Lincoln
Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
Gayle was born on July 26, 1944 in Lincoln, the
daughter of Lowillis and Virginia (Nickols) Handlin.
She married Robert Heath on December 20, 1975 in
Lincoln. He preceded her in death on January 2,
2015.
Gayle is survived by her children, Jeff (Brandy)
Heath, Robert “Bobby” Hickey Jr., and Jennifer
(Geoff) Schahl; her step-children, Roberta (Leo)
Logan, and Bobby Heath; her brother, Ronald Handlin;
her 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Gayle was preceded in death by her
parents; her husband; her step-daughter, Becky
Heath; her step-son, Ronnie Heath; her
granddaughter, Autumn Lynn Heath; and her
great-granddaughter, Pasleigh Leslie.
Gayle enjoyed fishing, solving puzzles, and playing
cards with her friends.
A private graveside service will be held on a later
date at Camp Butler National Cemetery in
Springfield.
Services have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
