Obituary
Cynthia J Mattson, 65, of Lincoln,
passed away January 14, 2022 at OSF Healthcare,
Peoria.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry
& Bennett Funeral Home. A celebration of life will
be held at a later date.
Cynthia was born April 11, 1956,in Lincoln, the
daughter of Donald Lolling and Patricia (Cochran)
Lolling. She married Michael Mattson October 9,
1999. He preceded her in death on November 10, 2019.
Cindy was employed at St. Clara's Manor for more
than 17 years and was then the Surgical Unit
Secretary and later worked in Sterile Processing at
Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed her
days with "the girls" to get coffee at McDonalds or
go to Flossie and Delzena's and Deep Roots. She also
enjoyed a Dunkin coffee after her dialysis. Family
was her everything! She was there for every
activity, birthday party, holiday, and any other
time. |
Her daughter was her best friend and her grandchildren and great
grandchildren were the light of her life. She is now at peace and happily
reunited with the love of her life.
Survivors include: her daughter Angie (Randy) Damm; grandchildren:
Cortnee(Dakota) Worthington, Sofee Jo Damm, Dalton Damm, Madi Damm, Race Damm,
and Khloe Damm; great grandchildren Blaine, Brenton, Brockton, and Braylee
Worthington, and Oakley, Haylen, and Kaison Damm; sister Terri (Randy) Helton
and brother Alan (Janice) Lolling; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Mike.
