The Lincoln Junior High Trojan wrestlers
traveled to Morton Junior High on Mondday night and wrestled
Morton and ElPaso-Gridley.
With a smaller group of 13 wrestlers, the team went 1- 1.
Wrestlers performed with intensity in both duals making it very
close and exciting.
Beating Morton 42-40 and losing to ElPaso-Gridley in the
nightcap 45-54.
The team’s season record is now 16-7.
Wrestlers with two wins were Cameron Bell, Dominick Cummings,
Lakin Adams, Elliott Martin, and Daniel Beck.
Wrestlers with one win were Zack Eckhardt, Cayden Geirets, Alex
Lacroix, Dominic Geriets, and Riley Eilertson.
Trojans will be at home next Tuesday, February 1st at 5:00pm
against Auburn and Mt. Zion.
