[January 27, 2022]  MOUNT PULASKI - Carl L. Stoltzenburg, 53, of Mount Pulaski, passed away on January 14, 2022, at Memorial Health in Springfield.

Service:  A celebration of life will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski.

Obituary

Carl L. Stoltzenburg, 53, of Mount Pulaski, passed away on January 14, 2022, at Memorial Health in Springfield.

Carl was born on August 18, 1968 in Lincoln, the son of Wilfred Stoltzenburg and Sherrill (LaBaw) Glick.

He married Michelle “Mickey” Washbond on September 19, 1991, in Mount Pulaski.
Surviving is his wife Mickey Stoltzenburg of Mount Pulaski; his sons, Paul Stoltzenburg of Mount Pulaski, Jake (Ariel Wilson) Stoltzenburg of Mount Pulaski; three grandchildren, Ryder, Myles, and Jake Jr. He is also survived by his mother, Sherrill Glick; four brothers, Mike Stoltzenburg, Geoff Sager, Andy Sager, and David Stoltzenburg.

He was preceded in death by his father; one aunt, Jan Doughty.

Carl was a maintenance technician for Thorntons. He was the Vice President of the Lincoln Sportsman’s Club, where he was the trap team coach, for the Lincoln Patriots. He loved Jeep runs and trail rides, fishing, and enjoyed his bourbon.

A celebration of life for Carl will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski.
