Lady Railers defeat Charleston 56-14
Lincoln picks up their 20th win of the season

[January 31, 2022] Lincoln
traveled to Charleston on Saturday afternoon and it was the Lady
Railers demolishing the Trojans by a final score of 56-14.
Lincoln led 13-4 after the first quarter, with five Lady Railers
entering the scoring column.
Lincoln led 29-7 at the half, as Jenna Bowman and Imagin Werner each
tossed in five points in the second quarter.
Taryn Stoltzenburg and Ryen Stoltzenburg each hit threes in the third
quarter for Lincoln. Becca Heitzig also tossed in four points to help
the Lady Railers run out to a 48-14 lead.
With the running clock in effect for the fourth quarter, the Lady
Railers 20th win was imminent.
Lincoln wins 56-14, once again without their leading scorer, Kloe Froebe.
Froebe is out with a hamstring injury.
Jenna Bowman and Taryn Stoltzenburg each led the Lady Railers with 11
points apiece.
The Lady Railers Varsity improved to 20-6 on the season.
The Lincoln JV team improved to 14-2 on the season with a 41-19 win over
Charleston. Makinley Knapp led Lincoln’s JV
with 9 points.
Lincoln will host Mount Zion on Tuesday night at Roy S. Anderson
Gymnasium. The JV will tip-off at 6
p.m. The Varsity is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
