The event was very well attended with guests having
time to speak with Dr. Bill Hauter one-on-one and also pick up yard
signs as a show of support for the candidate.
Hauter is being endorsed by several local people who last week
mailed letters to individuals throughout the community explaining
their reasons for support and inviting them to attend the Friday
evening event.
Among those who are endorsing Hauter are WLCN Viewpoint hosts
William ‘Bill’ Gossett and Judy Busby, Mount Pulaski Mayor Matthew
Bobell, Hauter’s brother and sister-in-law Drs. Dru and Marcia
Hauter, Logan County farmer Allen Sasse; and Larry, Helen, and Lance
Rainforth of Abe’s Inc. in Lincoln.
The letter issued noted “We are united in our strong support of Dr.
Bill Hauter to be our State Representative in the new 87th District
that contains all of Logan County.”
After the meet and greet, Hauter also paid a visit to the Third
Friday Downtown event, visiting with people as he made the trek
around the Logan County Courthouse Square.
