Visitation:  11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2022, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln

Service:  1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home

Obituary

Carol Turner, 81, of Lincoln, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Castle Manor.

Carol was born on February 12, 1941, in Sorento, to Arthur and Wilma (Schallenberg) Otto. She married Raymond Edward Turner on September 12, 1965, in Lincoln.

She is survived by her children, Michael (Debbie) Turner, Jeffrey (Elaine) Turner, and Kimberly (Brad) Bryant; siblings, Lois Crammond, Shirley (Jack) Guckenberger, Ruth (Tom) Scott, and Anita (Keith) Meadows; her grandchildren, Alexandra (Tim) Koehler, Chase Turner, Jake Turner, Kenzie (Jewel) Reed, and Blake Bryant; her great-granddaughter, Emersyn Koehler; and another great-grandchild (Reed) on the way.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond; and brother, Harold Otto.

Carol enjoyed camping and going to antique car shows with her husband. She greatly loved her cats and watching birds. Carol was a member of St. John U.C.C Church. She worked as a bank teller at Regions Bank in Lincoln and retired in 2001 after many years of service. Carol had a deep love for her family, especially her grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Carol will be on Monday, June 20, 2022, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, IL at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will take place two hours prior from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Memorials may be made in Carol’s name to The Humane Society of Logan County.
