Obituary
Helen Kay Stephenson, 80, of Lincoln,
passed away on July 2nd, 2022 at her home surrounded
by her family.
Helen was born to Loren C. and Mary Dell Johnson on
August 26, 1941, in Alma. She married William F.
Stephenson on March 11, 1961.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years: William
“Bill” Stephenson, one daughter: Pam (Scott)
Dammerman, two Granddaughters: Ashley (Jacob)
Horton, Jennifer (Blake) Neeley, and 4 great
grandchildren: Shay, Abby, Dierks, and Sam. Helen is
also survived by her brother: Gary (Sara) Johnson,
and her sister: Shirley (Roger) Swenson.
She is preceded in death by her
parents, and an infant son: William.
Helen was a wonderful wife, mother, and “GiGi”. She
enjoyed golfing, bingo, fishing, ball room dancing
and reading. Most of all she loved her family and
will be greatly missed. |
Helen’s wishes were to be cremated. A
private urn burial will take place at a later date
in McLeansboro.
Services have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Memorials may be made in Helen’s memory to the Oasis
Senior Center, Lincoln.
