Jacqueline “Jackie” Lee Sampson, 79, of Lincoln, passed away on
Sunday, May 1, 2022, at the Lincoln Memorial Hospital. |

Service:
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July
10, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the
Oasis Senior Center.

Obituary
Jacqueline “Jackie” Lee Sampson, 79,
of Lincoln, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at
the Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July
10, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the
Oasis Senior Center. Cremation Rites have been
accorded.
Jackie was born on January 7, 1943, in Peoria, the
daughter of Warren Leroy and Mina Edith Boyer
Sampson.
She is survived by her children: Jimmy (Val) Wright,
Tena (Rick) Schneider, Jerry (Elizabeth) Wright,
Teri Urbanowicz, and Terry (Diane) Baker; six
grandchildren: Corey Wright; Brad, Eric, and Chris
Schneider; and Josh and Andrew Urbanowicz; three
step-granddaughters: Brandy, Elizabeth and Kalliope;
ten great-grandchildren; her siblings: Judy
Hambleton, Ron (Karen) Sampson, Jean (Wayne) Mileham,
Joy (Dan) Fulk, Julie (Fiancee Willie McCray)
Barger, and Rob (Laura) Sampson; and many nieces and
nephews. |
Jackie was preceded in death by her
parents, one granddaughter: Tammi Urbanowicz, and
one brother: Roger Sampson.
Jackie loved her years as a hairdresser, spending
time with her customers, and especially singing and
dancing to Elvis. She also enjoyed attending and
watching NASCAR races.
Her family would like to recognize and thank the
nursing staff at the Lincoln Memorial Hospital for
their compassionate and amazing care shown their
mother/sister and them during Jackie’s final days.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s
choice.
