Portions of Fifth Street to be
closed today for tree removal projects

Fifth Street, between South Union and Maple Streets,
will be closed on Saturday, July 9, 2022 while contractors remove
two large trees. Work will begin around 7:30 am.
If the contractors have time, they will move down to the 600 block
of 5th Street to remove another tree. The section of 5th Street
closed for that work is between South State Street and South Jackson
Street.

Both road closures will reopen when the work is complete.
