“Walk at your own pace, walk alone,
walk with a friend, walk with the crowd; it's up to you,” said
Angela Stoltzenburg, director of the Community Health Collaborative
at Lincoln Memorial Hospital. “Just don't miss a Wednesday because
you never know when the Trailblazer prize patrol will be there to
reward random people for stepping up and walking to better health.”
The Lincoln Memorial Hospital Wellness Trail is
almost a mile long and sits on the hospital’s campus, 200 Stahlhut
Drive, Lincoln. The trail surface is smooth, paved concrete and 8
feet wide. Generally considered an easy trail, it takes about 12
minutes to complete one lap.
Gifted to the community in 2017 by the Lincoln Memorial Foundation,
the trail may be used for walking, running or biking and is open
from dawn to dusk. Use of the trail is weather permitting.
