On 7/25/2022 at 0814 hours (8:14 a.m.) the, Logan
County Sheriff's Office, Mount Pulaski Fire Department, Chestnut
Fire Department, and Logan County Paramedic Association were
dispatched to the 1100th Block of 2200th Avenue in Aetna Township
for a traffic crash involving a Semi-tractor trailer and a passenger
car.
The Semi-tractor trailer was traveling north on 2200th Avenue as the
passenger car was traveling south. The semi-tractor trailer and
passenger car collided south of 1100th Street on 2200th Avenue,
south of Salt Creek Bridge.

The semi-tractor trailer driver was transported to the hospital
with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the passenger car was pronounced deceased on scene.
The crash investigation is ongoing, and the names of the
individuals involved will be released by the coroner’s office once the family of
the deceased person has been notified.
