Obituary
Judith Ann Campbell, 71, of
Springfield passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at
Aperion Care in Jacksonville, Illinois.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Judith Ann McAfee was born on November 1, 1950 in
Springfield. She was raised in Sherman by her
mother, Josephine and stepfather John Hammond as
well as her father Daniel McAfee and stepmother
Betty of Athens.
Surviving Judith are her daughters: Elizabeth
Cummings of Lincoln and Cynthia Campbell of
Springfield. Two grandchildren: Miranda Cummings and
Joseph Cummings.
She is preceded in death by her parents,
step-parents and five older brothers; Gene, Rich,
Roy, Dave and Jerry McAfee.
Judith graduated from Williamsville High School in
1968. She retired from the Illinois Secretary of
State after nearly 30 years..
