The Humane Society of Logan County is once again this year
participating in the Route 66 Garage Sales to be held this weekend.
The volunteers that are organizing the event to take place at the
Logan County Fairground have been busy sorting and setting up
displays so that shoppers will be able to view everything that is
offered without a lot of digging about.
On Wednesday, the yellow door barn at the fairground was filled and
overflowing with items that range from outdoor equipment, sporting
goods, home décor, collectibles, toys and much more.
This year, most of the items will be priced according to a
color-code system. Signage showing the process will be posted
throughout the building.
There will be some items that are priced individually, and shoppers
should look for a piece of blue tape on the item with the purchase
price written on it.

This evening, Thursday, June 9th will be the special early bird
preview sale from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be a $5 admission charged at the
door for this event only.
If you can’t make it out Thursday evening, fear not, there will be plenty of
merchandise left over for the regular sale on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The
weekend sale will be FREE admission into the barn.
The HSLC sale is just one of more than 125 sales going on this weekend in
Lincoln and surrounding areas. Look for the link to the map and list of
addresses in Lincoln Daily News.
