Cara, a senior from Lincoln Community High School, completed the
LTEC Health Occupations Program where she was able to obtain medical
skills training and passed the State of Illinois’s Licensure Exam
for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) while earning college credit

always gave 100% effort. Cara also completed the LTEC Workplace
Experience Program, under the instruction of Mr. Donald Bowman,
where students are allowed to learn in a cohort about consumer

new challenges. Cara has worked for various employers since she was
13 and currently works as a CNA at St. Clara’s Rehab and Senior Care
in Lincoln. Cara also works as a volunteer at the local YMCA as a
soccer coach and assists with Immanuel Lutheran Church’s Vacation
