The 32-year-old defensive end has been absent from voluntary
organized team activities this offseason and plans to continue
training on his own for the 2022 season, per the report.
Quinn broke Chicago's single-season record with 18 1/2 sacks and
earned his third Pro Bowl selection last season.
He has 101 sacks to go with 173 quarterback hits, 359 tackles
and 32 forced fumbles in 156 games (135 starts) for the St.
Louis/Los Angeles Rams (2011-17), Miami Dolphins (2018), Dallas
Cowboys (2019) and Bears.
CBS Sports reported last month that Quinn wanted out of Chicago,
but the Bears have said they are not interested in trading the
11-year veteran.
Quinn signed a five-year, $70 million deal with the Bears in
March 2020. He is due a base salary of $12.8 million in 2022.
