Senator Sally Turner launches Baby Formula Drive
Please check your pantry for unopened, unexpired, baby formula

[June 15, 2022]     State Senator Sally Turner (R-Beason) is announcing the launch of a baby formula drive in response to the ongoing formula shortage hitting the nation.

“I truly hope that the federal government quickly resolves the ongoing baby formula shortage that is gripping the nation,” said Sen. Turner. “Until that happens, my office has decided to collect baby formula donations in the hopes of providing some relief to the parents of central Illinois.”

Senator Sally Turner is asking parents to check their pantries for unopened, unused and unexpired baby formula to donate to the drive. She is also asking that people do not purchase new formula from stores to avoid making the situation worse for parents seeking it.

“This drive is a chance for the people of our community who want to help, but don’t know how, to do good for the families struggling to find formula,” said Sen. Turner. “Anyone who has extra, or unneeded baby formula can bring it to my office in Lincoln and we will make sure that the formula gets to people in need.”

All donations can be dropped off at Sen. Turner's district office in Lincoln (120 S. McLean St., Suite A, Lincoln, IL 62656). All donations will then be distributed to the Pregnancy Resource Centers in Bloomington, Lincoln, Pekin and Springfield.
