Donna May Galvin
August 14, 1945 - June 8, 2022
Donna passed away on June 8 in Napa, CA. She was
born in Chicago to Clyde & Geraldine Willoughby. Her
parents were both veterans of WWII. She retired from
the Lincoln Development Center after 35 years of
service.
The happiest time of her life was
meeting and marrying Emmett Galvin and their years
spent together. She thought he was the most
wonderful man and loved him completely. She loved
traveling the world with him on dozens of cruises,
especially to Europe and through the Panama Canal.
They held hands every day through the years they
spent together.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son Don
Greenslate, and step-children Marianne & Tim.
She is survived by her son Ken (Kay) Greenslate,
daughter-in-law Marcia, daughter-in-law Destiny,
step-daughter Elizabeth, son-in-law Phil,
daughter-in-law Cathy, granddaughters Sierra and
Jordan, step-grandchildren Maeve, Sean, Timothy,
Victoria, and Andrew. She is also survived by her
Aunt Dee & cousin Susan.
She will be greatly missed.
Services will be on June 21, 2022 at 11:00 am at St.
Apollinaris Church in Napa. In lieu of flowers,
donations in Donna’s memory may be made to St.
Apollinaris Catholic Church, 3700 Lassen St. Napa,
